After years of depressed Fraser River sockeye salmon returns, including a disasterous 2009 season, the Fraser River fishing community is scrambling to keep up with an unexpectedly large return in the 2010 season with the Pacific Salmon Commission increasing its forecast several times to the current estimate of 30 million sockey returning to the river.
